I'm Seizing the Day

I'm not the wisest person you know. I'm not even the wisest person I know. I do, however, believe that I have been given some talents and tests that others have not-or atleast not in the same way. I appreciate them. Stress is my body's way of telling me to slow down. I was forced to do so. Even though I push my body to some limits, I do understand that I can't do everything. I appreciate knowing when to stop and give my body a break. I'm not the superhuman diva I once thought I was. I'm super. I'm human. I may even be a diva from time to time, just not all at once. Every journey we take could someday help another on theirs. Just know that your blessing is right around the corner. Enjoy life until it shows up!

  1. Our experiences aren't meant solely for our own learning. Sometimes the things that happen to us, happen so that we can be messengers to others. Here's something some of you didn't know...In December 1999, I was diagnosed with lupus. I went through what I was intended to go through. Many revelations occured. Skip to December 2010. Doctor says, "There is no lupus present in your system." After sharing my good news, I realized that my blessing might be a blessing to someone else. Lupus is something that I have only shared with few people, but overcoming lupus is something worth sharing with the world. I don't have much to offer in the way of wisdom, but I will say that i am thankful to God that I ain't worried about that stinkin' lupus no' mo'. Carpe Diem.
